We used to live in Port Isabel, Texas, but moved to West Des Moines, IA because our daughter had breast cancer and needed us. She is married to a wonderful man and has a "miracle baby, too! He is now 10 yr. old. Would you please pray for Shannon Hodges, our daughter, who this Wednesday morning at 7:00 will have a 10 hr. surgery. Pray for the wisdom of the doctors and the nurses. She is having her second reconstruction on her breast and it is a very difficult and hard surgery. She is really anxious about this as I would be, too. Thank you for your prayers!

Please pray for my situation, I have been divorsed a couple of months so i am no longer married to a bigomist, He is a minister and sings thought our area. I am currently in dire finacial problems because he took the house, trailer, all three bussinesses, the 50 or more cars in our car lot. He has left me with nothing. he is a very talented singer and charismatic person. the courts seem to think he has cancer and is with out means because of the all of the lies he has told to me and others. i had believed these lies for many years and I, his other friends, and his group, 333 are slowly finding out the truth in all of this. please pray that he finds the light and not just the lip service with out the deeds that go along. Hello Prayer Warriors......This is about a little girl that is 4 years old, and was sent to us by her family in Mobile Alabama. Terry went out there to do a concert for her, and met her while she was taking treatments. Very beautiful and sweet little girl. I am sending it on to you with the hope that you will pray for her and for this family who has been through so much.................. Hi Mr. Terry and Mrs. Janice, ....This is a difficult email to send but I promised Kimberly I would give you an update on Brynn. For now Brynn is still with us-struggling. I know I haven't contacted you in a bit (and I apologize) but since I last did this is what has happened..... Brynn underwent surgery to attempt to remove the new tumor. The doctors were able to remove 90% of it but not all. In the process Brynn lost more of her colon and was immediately given a colostomy bag. The doctors said there was just no way to get all of the cancer this time. It is soooo aggressive and if they took the remaining piece she would have died as a result. They wanted to try to get as much as possible without having to cause any more damage than neccessary. The doctors had hoped for a better recovery and within a couple of weeks or so try radiation to rid her of the remaining cancer. However there were complications and radiation is no longer an option. It seems as though the doctors had to implant a spring of some sort in her colon to apparantly help make the colostomy function correctly. Somehow the spring caused a tear in her intestines resulting in a leak. The doctors put her on very very heavy antibiotics since they couldn't go back in and do surgery that quickly. She went a few days like this and the doctors weren't giving it much hope. Then all of a sudden the tear began to heal itself- almost w/no help from the antibiotics. God's intervention???? We all think so. We all raised our hands and hearts in praise to God for yet another miracle. As of late last week we got some more chilling news. It seems as though there is a leak coming through the colostomy bag again and this time there is no stopping it. The doctors said that if the leak gets into her blood stream it will be fatal. She is also still battling the remaining piece of the tumor and the excessive fluid from it. The doctors have told her parents that there is absolutely nothing else they can do and one of these two factors will be what takes her life. The doctors are sending her home tomorrow and she is going to have hospice come help her. The doctors said they are not sure how much longer she has but they wanted her to be at home with her family when that time comes. Please continue to pray for her comfort and peace and that God's will be done.

My name is Melissa Reed, I take care of accounting at Solid Rock Christian Ministries in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are a Faith-based drug and alcohol recovery center, a church, and have a homeless outreach program. Recently I had the opportunity to drive the Church Van and I was shocked at the condition it was in. It has 238,000 + miles on it. It is a 1997 Ford Club XLT; we use it to transport clients from their houses to our Recovery Classes, pick up food for the homeless, and pick-ups for our church services. But this van is on its last leg, I believe there are angels holding it together. What I am asking for is help locating a safe transport vehicle; a donation or a reasonable priced van. We are under extreme economical stress at this time, as our staff here at Solid Rock have not been paid since June of 2009. We are holding on with God's Help, and know that God has us. He is one of the top readers in his class and his teachers and principal all know that he can greatly excel in the class room if he applied himself more. This is hard for him because of low self esteem, he rarley has anyone talk to him, even when they do it is only to make funof him, no one likes to sit beside him nor wants to stand beside him in line. He is a very sweet child and is very giving and unselfish. He often cries because of the way he is treated. He has had bad situations in the past that he has had to overcome. Background Story
Our son Sam is a wonderful young man who is 8 years old. He will be 9 in January. He is going into the 3rd grade in Reynoldsburg , Ohio . Sam had been having some pain in his right knee most of this summer (2009). As the pain increased we realized that something might be wrong and we made an appointment for him to see an Orthopedist on 8/10/09. At this doctors appointment an X-ray was done of Sam's leg/knee and it showed that there was a mass that the doctor believed to be cancerous. Samuel went into the hospital just a
few days later for a series of tests. He received a cat scan, MRI, and also a full body scan. Our family met with the pediatric oncologist the following day and Samuel was diagnosed with a type of cancer called Osteosarcoma (stage 4). The cancer is in his right knee and it has also spread to both of his lungs. This is an agressive type of cancer and it will be treated with agressive forms of chemo. We are asking everyone to please lift up our litle boy Samuel Gordon Bish in prayer. We pray for healing!! We serve a mighty God and we know that HE can heal Sam if that is his will for Sam's life. Please be prayer warriors along with our family as Sam starts this very difficult journey in his young life.
Today's date is August 20th, 2009 and all this has happened in 6 days. His first appointment was on Monday the 10th and by Friday the 14th he was in the hospital getting his Chemo-port put in his chest and a biopsy done.
I figured if an
animated woman walking around the world for cancer can get passed to millions, then so can this story.

Jill and her husband are proud parents of a 7 month old little girl. Jill has cancer. She is being treated with chemo. When the tumors are reduced, her sister will be giving her a bone marrow transplant. Jill will be returning to the oncologist and transplant doctor on August 5 to find out if conditions are favorable for the transplant. If so, she will probably be receiving the transplant the week of August 10th.

Hi - my name is Lisa Greshko, I am a 43-year old mother of 2 children, living in NJ. I discovered a tumor in my breast on 10/28/08, and it has been some journey since. But the Lord has been so faithful to me, in that He opened doors that I never knew existed. I decided to follow His lead and not got the traditional chemo/radiation route.
I found an alternative medical facility where I receive treatments for breast cancer & I found an iridologist. The good news is that I also found a salve that pulls the tumor out by the roots. Last week was my 3rd week, and the most painful; so painful that I could not go to the alternative medical facility for my regular treatments. But the tumor shrunk to half the size and I was about half way done, and the pain was over so I was happy with the progress. I went yesterday to resume treatment, after a 10-day break, and discovered that the one treatment caused my tumor to grow back to it's original size! I am very dismayed, but thankful that God revealed this to me. My prayer now would be that I won't have to go through all that pain again to get back down to where I was. Ultimately, I would ask prayer that God would allow the tumor to come out, as it is supposed to with this salve, and that the cancer has not metastasized anywhere else in the body.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness to pray for those in need. I know that we are all called to pray, but some of us are more gifted in this area than others, and I can appreciate that gift. May the Lord bless you for your sacrifice and generosity.

Please pray for Thomas Lowe he has finished his chemo and radation treatments. but is very weak and can't seem to regain any energy. He lost sixty pounds during all of the treatments. He cant't seem to gain any weight. His surgeon said he may have a blockage or the chemo could have burnt the linning out of his stomach. We tend to get discouraged at times, but we know God is able to touch his body.

Please pray for me, my name is Brynn Woods and I live in Mobile Al. I am 3 years old. I attend Lighthouse Baptist Academy Christian School. I was diagnosed with Malignant Fibrous Histiocystoma Cancer. It is an adult cancer and only 1 percent of children get it. I had surgrey but was able to remove my tumor at this time. Dear Christian Brothers and Sisters,
Our family has been so blessed for the past couple of years. The start of our ministry through God's Country Band has given us the chance to touch many people's lives and many have touched ours and have given us the motivation to continue with our ministry.
One of our band members Timothy Stout Sr. Has had something completely amazing happen in his life. After 49 years his father has come back into his life. Through this he has found out he has a lot of family members he never knew he had. Many brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces and a wonderful stepmother have all been in contact with him.
His father is on his way from Arizona to pay him a visit and a family reunion is in the works at his sister Brenda's son Bo's wedding in Oklahoma. We are looking forward to this event as this is another stepping stone in our ministry as we get to bless a part of our family that has not had the opportunity to experience our ministry. In talking to his family they are also very much into music and we finally get to make the connection where we were born to play.
We are asking our fellow brothers and sisters to help us in the prayers for the financial aspect of our trip. We are starting to save to take our entire family. This event takes place in June, and GOD willing we will make it. This has been a dream for our entire family for Tim Sr. To know where his roots are from and finally have closure to know exactly who his father is.

As many of you know Little Samantha has a rare genetic disorder called Non Ketonic Hyperglycenemia. This disorder inhibits the enzymes in her body from breaking down the amino acids in her blood. Due to the lack of enzyme breakdown the acid goes to her brain and inhibits normal function. Many doctors have given us nothing but horror stories, and hopeless tales of her demise. Little Samantha was given no hope to live past a month or so, but she has overcome by the grace of god. She is now 9 months old.
All doctors decisions have all been based on theory and not fact. Samantha was put on a medicine called Sodium Benzoite, this was a medication that we were told she will die if she doesn't take. This medicine hurt her so much. It would throw her into screaming fits and left her in pain.She had to take this medication 4 times a day which would leave her unhappy most of the time.
One mother of a child who has the same condition wanted to try to the medication to see what her baby was going through. She was in for a world of hurt. She stated that it was like taking battery acid and just one sniff of it burned all of her nose hairs.Having this picture in the family's heads really got us thinking every time she took this medication.
In January we were blessed to take our ministry God's Country Band to play in Woodland at the Woodland Christian Center. During this event Samantha was prayed over and anointed with oil to rid her of this horrible disorder. Many people of the congregation came together and told us she had been cured. Others told us of the miracles they received through this church and it started raising our faith for Samantha's health a little more everyday.
After our experiences at the church, Samantha was completely refusing this horrible medication. It started to become a sign from God to take her off. This was now in God's hands and time for us to take a leap in faith to leave it in God's hands.
She was taken back to her pediatrician who informed us that she is going to go to God either on the medication or off. It was time for us to put all of our faith in the decision to take her off the Sodium Benzoite. This was a very difficult decision for her parents, Mike and Becky, but they wanted it to be completely up to God. They wanted her days to be pain free and if it was time for her to go it was in God's hands and they didn't want her to go in pain.
It has now been 2 weeks since the cease of her Sodium Benzoite. She is doing great so far. The first few days she was sleepy and had a few seizures, but she has been seizure free now for a week and a half. She is eating on the bottle again, and seems to get stronger every day. She is now pain free for the first time and even smiles. It is a very scary situation, but we know it is only in God's control and we feel we are doing what is best for Samantha.
Thank you for all of your continued prayers and we ask to keep her in your prayers. Everyday is another day to have a Samantha with us and another chance for her to heal.

Please add Edward Thomas to your prayer list. He is a great friend from Alabama who has had many health issues and is just getting out of the hospital with a heart attack. He and his wife, Peggy, who is having health problems also, really appreciates your prayers. They know, as we do, that God is able and without him, we have no hope at all. Thank you!

My wife and I have been separated for over 2 years and have 4 kids that I am taking care of. I have been praying for our marriage to be reconciled, but things have gotten worse. She is involved with another man and pregnant for him. She is also involved in all kinds of wild, ungodly living. She has basically turned her back on us. I believe that she is dealing with demonic forces and generational curses.

I would like for you to please pray for my brother. he is fighting demons with alchol and he has just recently gotten his kids back with him after losing them to the state 2 years ago. he still has a major problem with drinking and im afraid its gonna get out of control and hes gonna lose his kids again and i really hate to see that happen.. i have been praying for him but it seems like the more i pray for him the worse his drinking gets so i am asking for more people to pray for him as well.. maybe between my praying and everyone elses out there he will realize that he needs Jesus in his life.. thank you

The Lord has blessed me with everything I need. I have a home, food, heat and clothes to wear. He has lead me beside the still waters for me to rest to remind me that I am his child. But, there is alot of his very small children going through very difficult times some are even dying. We need to keep these children in our prayers and help those we can who can't help themselves God Bless All the Little Children

I have a loved one who is lost and claims that there is no God. He says that Christianity is a myth, although he was taken to church as a child. I am too close to him to be able to talk to him about it...it just doesn't work for me. However, I know that God is able to do anything and that nothing is too hard for Him. Please join me in praying for God to send the right person into his path....someone who can lead him to God before it is too late. I think sometimes we neglect to pray enough for lost souls and this is the greatest sickness in the world today. Please help me to bring this person to the throne of God and help him to get saved.
